August 24, 2022 – Design Works Gaming (DWG) announced today a multi-state partnership with BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator. The partnership combines DWG’s experience and expertise with BetMGM’s player-centric focus to build upon the industry’s strongest gaming portfolio.
Several of DWG’s classic titles, including Armadillo Artie Gone Wild and Wonders of Africa, are now available to BetMGM Casino, Borgata Casino and Party Casino players in New Jersey through Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform. These games, and the rest of DWG’s titles, will soon become available to players across additional U.S. markets in which BetMGM is live.
DWG CEO Troy Zurawksi said: “BetMGM has one of the most efficient, player-focused and genuine teams in iGaming. We’re excited about this partnership because not only do they love our content, but the driven nature of their team paves way for limitless collaboration opportunities, which ultimately bring the best content to their players.”
BetMGM Director of Gaming Oliver Bartlett said: “We are thrilled to offer DWG’s creative and innovative content to BetMGM players. At BetMGM, we are committed to investing in the very best and most diverse titles and look forward to a long relationship with DWG.
DWG first went live in New Jersey in December and has added licenses in the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Connecticut to its portfolio in recent months.
July 13, 2022 – Design Works Gaming has struck a deal with 888casino, one of the world’s leading online casino brands and part of 888 Holdings plc, which has initially launched DWG content on their UK site.
888casino, which launched in 1997, was one of the UK’s first online casinos to hit the market. It now offers five top-performing DWG titles, including Armadillo Artie Gone Wild and Double Fancy 7s, with several rolling out over the coming months.
The content is delivered via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming™ platform.
DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said: “Adding 888 to our roster further validates DWG’s games as some of the highest performing in the industry. It’s rare to find a team of people who prioritize precision and quality of content the way they do, so this partnership couldn’t be a better match for us. We’re looking forward to what we can glean from their unique business strategies to bring the best to 888 players.”
Talya Benyamini, VP B2C Casino at 888casino, said: “We are so excited to partner with Design Works to continue to enhance the experience and product offer for our players. Content leadership is critical for our business, and we can’t wait to bring the incredible DWG content to our main markets around the world.”
888casino joins other UK operators, such as William Hill, Betfred and Unibet, in bringing DWG games to their customer base. This launch marks the first step in a broader rollout of the studio’s games in other regulated markets where 888casino is active, including the US.

December 14, 2021 – Casino content studio Design Works Gaming (DWG) is live with New Jersey operator Resorts Digital Gaming on www.resortscasino.com and www.mohegansuncasino.com.
DWG games are now live in NJ with Resorts across both its Resorts Casino and Mohegan Sun brands. The operator was the first to sign DWG real money gaming content in the US.
Games including Wonders of Africa and Armadillo Artie Gone Wild are available now, with more content to follow. The integration is via SG Digital’s OpenGaming platform, as part of a first-of-its-kind dual pilot.
The partnership will also see DWG working closely with Resorts to build a series of bespoke content, informed by the data, that will raise the bar for online gaming in the US.
Design Works Gaming CEO Troy Zurawski said: “As soon as we sat down with Ed Andrewes and the team at Resorts, we knew these were our kinda people. They haven’t built their brand by following the crowd and neither have we – that’s probably why we get along so well. Watch this space for a game-changing partnership, bespoke content and a reimagining of what a great online casino product looks like in New Jersey.”
Resorts Digital Gaming CEO, Ed Andrewes said: “We are absolutely delighted to have partnered with DWG. Their content has already performed remarkably well in Europe and, with their heritage, we believe it can do even better in the US market. DWG immediately understood the demographic of our audience and we believe our customers will love the bespoke content which is significantly different from anything else available”.
DWG’s launch in New Jersey is the first step in a major stateside push, which will see the content studio’s games rolled out across regulated markets with some of the country’s biggest operators. The states of Michigan and Pennsylvania are next on the roadmap, with DWG recently receiving licenses in both.
Design Works Gaming is repeating a remarkable growth story already witnessed in Europe, where the company first launched its real money content last year after more than a decade in the land-based and social spaces. DWG titles have quickly become staples in key markets including the UK, where the content is live with major operators including Kindred, William Hill, and Betfred.
