August 24, 2022 – Design Works Gaming (DWG) announced today a multi-state partnership with BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator. The partnership combines DWG’s experience and expertise with BetMGM’s player-centric focus to build upon the industry’s strongest gaming portfolio.

Several of DWG’s classic titles, including Armadillo Artie Gone Wild and Wonders of Africa, are now available to BetMGM Casino, Borgata Casino and Party Casino players in New Jersey through Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform. These games, and the rest of DWG’s titles, will soon become available to players across additional U.S. markets in which BetMGM is live.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawksi said: “BetMGM has one of the most efficient, player-focused and genuine teams in iGaming. We’re excited about this partnership because not only do they love our content, but the driven nature of their team paves way for limitless collaboration opportunities, which ultimately bring the best content to their players.”

BetMGM Director of Gaming Oliver Bartlett said: “We are thrilled to offer DWG’s creative and innovative content to BetMGM players. At BetMGM, we are committed to investing in the very best and most diverse titles and look forward to a long relationship with DWG.

DWG first went live in New Jersey in December and has added licenses in the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Connecticut to its portfolio in recent months.

July 13, 2022 – Design Works Gaming has struck a deal with 888casino, one of the world’s leading online casino brands and part of 888 Holdings plc, which has initially launched DWG content on their UK site.

888casino, which launched in 1997, was one of the UK’s first online casinos to hit the market. It now offers five top-performing DWG titles, including Armadillo Artie Gone Wild and Double Fancy 7s, with several rolling out over the coming months.

The content is delivered via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming™ platform.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said: “Adding 888 to our roster further validates DWG’s games as some of the highest performing in the industry.  It’s rare to find a team of people who prioritize precision and quality of content the way they do, so this partnership couldn’t be a better match for us. We’re looking forward to what we can glean from their unique business strategies to bring the best to 888 players.”

Talya Benyamini, VP B2C Casino at 888casino, said: “We are so excited to partner with Design Works to continue to enhance the experience and product offer for our players. Content leadership is critical for our business, and we can’t wait to bring the incredible DWG content to our main markets around the world.”

888casino joins other UK operators, such as William Hill, Betfred and Unibet, in bringing DWG games to their customer base. This launch marks the first step in a broader rollout of the studio’s games in other regulated markets where 888casino is active, including the US.

October 20, 2021 – Design Works Gaming’s (DWG) stateside expansion continues to pick up pace, after the content studio was granted licenses to provide its games to real money online operators in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

The licenses, which were granted in consecutive days by the Michigan Gaming Control Board and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, allow DWG to supply its content to regulated online operators in the states.

DWG already holds a similar license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, meaning its games are now licensed in the three largest states to offer regulated online casino games.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said: “We’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country. Michigan and Pennsylvania are new and exciting markets that are crying out for original, world-class content. Our proprietary RGS integrated with SG Digital affords us break-neck speed to market. We can’t wait to deliver our best-in-class content to the players of these great states!”

Last month, DWG announced its entry in regulated markets in North America via an agreement with SG Digital. The partnership is set to kick off with a first-of-its-kind dual pilot launch in New Jersey with leading operators Golden Nugget and Resorts Casino.
